Mississippi trial 1955


Ever since Hiram Hillburn was a little boy he has lived with his grandma and grandpa, That live in Mississippi this book takes place in the 1955-1979 time period. Hiram soon has to deal with his grandma dying, when this happens his mom and dad come to Mississippi for the funereal. After that they desire to move to Arizona and leave his grandpa there Hiram feels really sad does not want to leave his grandpa all alone but he goes to Arizona with his mom and dad. After a few years of being Arizona he finds out that grandpa had a stroke and begged his dad to let him go see his grandpa his dad finally  says fine so he takes a train to Mississippi when he gets there his grandpas helper is there to pick him up but its not what he though it would be. soon he meets a boy named Emmett till he is African american so he is treated like crap! one day he finds Emmett till dead in the river and want to find out what kind of person could do such a thing but what will it take
.
